Berardi is not there. He had 5-6 freak games, and the other 30+ were average at best. if he can perform consistantly like Immobile has done this year, THEN he's ready for juventus.

It wouldnt hurt loaning him to a better team, as long as he's guaranteed to be playing most of the time.

For juventus however, he's far from ready

Yes, but unlike del piero or totti, berardi wasent in a team with extreme competition. Totti and Del Piero were such massive talents, that could relatively consistantly put in good performances despite their age, and the goals came later.

How many "freak games" did Tevez have? If the definition of a freak game is going mental and score a hattrick and play like an established world class player i think having at few freak games is enough to prove how good he is on a good day.. And in front of goal i also think Berardi is just as clinical as Tevez for instance..

On the contrary, it suggests that one week he'd typically be praised as a god here, but that could well be followed by nine weeks of Tuzzers saying he's absolute crap and should be benched by Osvaldo and sent to Serie B.

but how long until hes ready? we are probably thinking he must score a goal/assist every game and be among the best on the field every game in a Sassuolo to be ready for Juve. im sure what Bayern would have done if they have signed Berardi last summer. he would have played this season for a top Bundesliga (probably CL) side and next season he would already be brought back. in Juve, you must "prove" yourself in various weird low table clubs until youre 24-25, then we say "now hes ready, bring him back" but by then its probably too late to have a new someone (im not gonna say Del Piero ), and you end up with a new Giovinco...

i still stand by it. send him to a CL/EL club from top 5 european leagues. if we cant, bring him back an give him a chance to play. im sure he can start around 20 games and play a total of 35-40 games here...

I've watched several of the games in which he didn't score and he wasn't 'horribly bad' by any stretch of the imagination, he has been quite good in most of the games he has played this season from what I can tell. I agree with zizinho, let's try to loan him to a top 8 side like Parma or bring him back.

Bringing him back immediately wouldn't be the worst thing to do, yes he wouldn't play every game but he would get enough playing time to build the so called "experience" everyone is so obsessed with. Loaning him out again could turn him into another Giovinco, which we see far too often in Italy with youngsters now a days. Plus he already looks to be at a level where he would be able to offer great quality off of the bench.
