I think we're losing him tbh.Everyone and his mother says Madrid will buy him back and sell him to EPL so there must be a hint of truth in that.I feel there's very less chance in retaining him.

Maybe management has convinced Berardi of giving him enough game time.

Use Morata money to buy Berardi + Pjanic.Would be good compensation for losing Morata.

Morata must stay. That's a downgrade in my books, especially since I think we could still afford both Pjanic and Berardi while keeping Morata.

Doubt it.Especially if we are targeting another MF like Mascherano.

Agree Berardi is a downgrade, though we'd be still strengthening our midfield immensely with signings like Pjanic and Mascherano.

Pogba,Marchisio,Khedira,Mascherano,Pjanic.Best midfield in the world easily.

Much stronger than last season.The only thing we'd be missing is off the bench options like Cuadrado and Morata who were so vital to provide that spark when required.Berardi and Zaza in comparison would be a downgrade from them.

Our bench options is what made us really strong this year. See the last game for example. Subbing on Morata and Cuadrado won us the game and Morata is the future. Mandzukic will only be here for 2 more seasons tops. I trust Marotta will spend big on keeping the Spaniard.

Wouldn't be surprised if the "discount" means including new players Sassuolo can have an option on like Lapadula/Caprari, keep Sassuolo and the relationship alive now they're in European competition.
