I think it's legit. As a club you don't want to lose your best player 2 weeks before season opening. You want time to replace him
hard to believe to me. i also cant find any official statement neither of this 15M>20M rumor, but also not that we have to pay 15M for his other half. the official press release when we agreed to renew the co-own last summer doesent mention any numbers at all. @Mark, help me out here

it might be true, but it doesent have to be. did Marotta ever say anything about this?

I really don't understand all the drama. If we don't purchase him now, it will go to envelopes and do you really think Sassuolo will offer more than 15mil in the blind auction? Of course not. They don't have the resources. I am pretty sure that if it goes to envelopes we will get him for around 10mil.

Juve's relationship with Sassuolo is too good to risk it over a few million Euro's. It will never go to a blind auction.

and they can offer 15-20M if some rich club promises them to buy him for 30-40M right after that. but youre right, we should not risk our good relationship with them
Oh, I'm not saying that they SHOULDN'T risk their relationship with Sassuolo, I just don't think they will :D

But who is the real beneficiary of this relationship? Is it us who have several current or former Sassuolo players in our starting lineup or is it them who play Peluso, Berrardi and Zaza. If Marotta wants Berrardi but considers 15mil too steep a price then Sassuolo must negotiate otherwise risking not only to destroy the relationship that is hugely beneficial to them but also going to blind auction because such are the rules of coownerships.
