I don't care. I'm not gonna let someone get away with insulting my parents.

1. You're making claims for which you have no backing of. Besides, if these crimes are done behind "closed doors", then how do you know about it?

2. I'm no expert in prenatal science, but I'm sure that it's a lot more complicated than that. I'm sure it has to do a lot with nutrition, health of the mother, and probably our DNA. Blaming god for a successful or an unsuccessful birth is sheer ignorance.
How was he insulting your parents bro? You're only attacking him because he believes God had hands in your birth. Some one could have said it was fate or survival of the fittest and you wouldn't have flipped so you look transparent with your so called anger

Some real dumb shit being spouted off by you. Are you really backing him up on this AC?

Back on topic, what do theists think about The Bing Bang Theory? I mean the show. Do you guys also find it somewhat funny or do you change the channel soon as the theme song starts playing?

You really are annoying with the word play. Man up stop hiding behind your screen and admit the majority of ridicule and insults come from the supposedly more rational and intellegent atheist. Belittling the ignorant believers
:sergio: It's what you said.

Your buddy here says atheists are immoral and imply they're malevolent and then you all want to play the ridiculed victim all the time.

No I'm not backing him or anyone. I was having my own discussion and then I gave him props on one thing and all of a sudden I'm Lumped into every statement he makes like were mutually exclusive in thought and belief

Who says you? The non believer? Just because you can not comprehend belief it does not male a person less rational. Your insinuation of that is an insult in it self.
It depends on what you believe, Andrea, and on what basis you believe in something that makes you a rational person. You sure may be rational in all other walks of life. But when you abandon it when it comes to believing in a god, then I definitely see you as being less rational.

Besides, what is so wrong if I do think you are less rational? It is afterall me pointing our a flaw in you. And we all have flaws that we aim to overcome or get rid of in our lives. Your response to me pointing it out is like "What? You think I'm irrational? How dare you call me irrational! I'm not irrational at all, and I'm insulted by you calling me one!". It's arrogance if anything. Arrogance in accepting that you have a flaw in your belief system, and refusal to revise it.

You lump atheists into one category all the time.

PS never watched the show. Don't really watch CBS
Would you watch it if you had the opportunity?

Sure. You would be amazed at what I have watched. I'm sure enough in my beliefs that I'm not worried about anything affecting it.
PS I never say all just the majority especially on this site have the same attitude towards believers

Cos I was born without any complications at birth, I was very healthy and there were no problems immediately after birth. A lot of this was a result of the prenatal care that my mother undertook to ensure a successful birth. By saying that god alone is responsible for my health after birth, he is disregarding all the effort that my mother put in. It's a slap in the face. I don't care if he thinks that way about his birth. But by applying it to my birth, he is insulting my mother, and a lot of humans who helped her too. It is utterly insulting.

If someone did say it was fate, it still would've made me angry cos they're disregarding my mothers efforts without even knowing me or my mother personally. Survival of the fittest? I don't see what that has to do with this!

1 - That's because around the world, most atheists are concentrated in the upper classes. They're involved in behind close door crimes, not petty ones

2 - Just go to your local children's hospital and blame the parents and their doctors or their new born disabled children.

, your an idiot.
1 - have you ever had children?

2 - Refer to the basis of any religious teaching. They all encourage good moral behaviour and benevolence.
Yeah like stoning and shit, awesome fun times. Does anyone else think that Jesus was a selfish man? I mean he could have done soooo much more if he had all the powers that people believe he did.

It's just the name of the show. It's a comedy, the episodes never talk about religion.

Many witnesses saw him speak as a baby, witnessed him heal the sick, saw him involved in numerous miracles. He changed the world completely. But hey, I guess it's easier to believe in fairytales, like some day my descendants will have wings if I want it strongly enough right now.
Sure and if we all wrote a book called Juventuz and proclaimed Sheik as the deity who fucked a plant that then turned into the great oak that led us all to heaven people would believe it as well.

The reasoning behind the statement above about Jesus falls to this. When Jesus was crucified the apostles were hiding cowards then after seeing him reaaurected they went all over the world and preached the gospel to martyrdom. The must have seen something that they were all willing to die for it. Even Paul who was originally Saul and persecuted Christians as a zealot for the temple and yet his conversion on the road to Damascus was so huge that he became one of the biggest forces foe Christianity
