I know, what's your point?

That I mentioned a bird's eyes? I just meant other creatures on the planet that have just as, if not more complex eyes, that are not human.
I don't really have a point :p but that doesn't change the fact that the human eye is complex. And I've read multiple explenations about how the human eye has developed. I don't really want to argue over this.

You guys can believe what you want, I'll respect it. As for science, it shouldn't be bashed, we live much better now because of it.

That's right, but still, every single one of us is biased in one way or another. (not in this topic, but in many other topics in life)
That's why there is a process. Science in the proper application goes out of the way to be a unbiased as possible.

But to say that it is completely subjective and as gray of an area is as insulting as someone saying religion is a just another book of Fables.

I've noticed something tonight. I've been reading several American educational sites about evolution that say it's a fact and it's proven and solid. While most SA books still say that evolution is just a theory. Man, I'm gonna have to read a few American books to get a different perspective.
Read some European books too.

It would just take a long time to do it properly, completely explain the process, like my Astronomy 2 Prof did so many years ago. And I really want to go to bed.

Plus I'm not an atheist.
No need to explain. I am well aware of the scientific peer-review process and have been part of it at times myself. in fact, the peer review method was arguably initiated by a religious civilisation in the first place.

That's my opinion on the matter. Science tells us how rain falls to the earth, how it evaporates and creates clouds, and how it helps sustain life, but it never considers why. Science is important to us but meaningless on the big questions of life. Religion creates meaning in life.
Let me ask you the same question I asked you earlier. Why do you need something/someone to explain "why"? Are you really that weak willed that you need some superhuman entity to tell you what the point of your life is?
