U do have a washing machine @ ur hostel right? If so

1. Check that the water outlet goes to the drain
2. On the power.
3. Follow instructions according to washing machine
4. Ensure that the water is flowing in.
5. Put in clothes till it fill 1/5 of the washing machine
6. Put 1/2 small cup of detergent in
7. Toss + swirl the detergent to make sure that every part of ur laundry is washed by the detergent (like putting the chocolate powder on a cake)
8. Load the rest of the clothes in
9. Put detergent in (3/5 cup to 3/4 cup)
10. Repeat step 7

Don't forget to hang + dry ur clothes.
what's this? noobs guide to do laundry?
of course I could do that, what's so hard is I'm a lazy dude.
The hardest part in laundry is when you have to ironed the clothes, that's the only thing machine couldn't help me.
Where the hell is all genius in this world, they can't even invent an automatic ironing machine. :fero:

They all live in their parents' basements, so they have no need for such a device.

Ironing is much better than washing the dishes :sigh:

but you are right, at least we do have dishwasher. Maybe you can give one of those, ah special irons a try? You know, the ones where you can just iron them when they're already hanged in the cupboard than put it on the ironing board

wouldnt make a big diff though.....

:howler: I remember first time I tried to cook a meal - I was going to fry some potatoes. Now, we didn't actually have a frying pan so I just filled a regular pan with oil and heated it up. In my naivety, I thought oil would show it's ready for frying by boiling, just like water does. When nothing happened after about 30 minutes or so, I decided to turn up the heat a bit more.

Then the whole thing caught fire. My mum wasn't too pleased

I'm combining both since 3 years now.

In the week I live with some friends (we rent a house in the town I study in), and on week-ends I go back to my home, eating my mom's food and she also does my laundry. Perfect!

You could be Dutch. That's pretty much the national sport here and THE main reason why you should always try to avoid travelling by train on Friday afternoons cause they're so crowded you might have to skip a couple before you can actually enter one :D
