Humiliation doesn't count for shit when you check the body count mate...the positive thing that came from that summer conflict IMO was the international condemnation of Israel, which thankfully is still continuing to this day...

and bro, could you explain more about Syria?
100% and no one can ignore that fact.....but what Israeli's will take into their account is that Hezbollah alongside the Lebanese Army are stronger than ever. It's quite loose-loose situation for them If they ever re-consider doing Summer 2006.

As for Syria, they're the only ones that can negotiate with Israel and vice versa. One week ago Syria-Israel direct peace negotiation was supposed to be held in Turkey between the Syrian President and the Israeli PM.

Here's what both parts and Palestine/Lebanon will benefit from the Syrian-Israeli peace.....

Syria.... most important things

1- Israel will withdraw from Joulan, a Syrian land that has been occupied by the Israeli's for more than 30years now.

2- Protecting the Assad regime in Syria [same way they did with the Jordanian king and Egyptian President Mubarak].

Israel.... most important things

1- Syria will be obliged to stop financing both Hezbollah and Hamas with weapons.

2- They'll break the Iranian-Syrian contact.

Lebanon and Palestine.... most important things

1- Refugees returning back to their homeland from Lebanon, Syria
2- Sheb'aa, Lebanese land that will return back to Lebanon... [Hezbollah will have no more reason to keep their arms on and will be obliged to hand everything to the Lebanese Army].

These things I mentioned where on papers that was supposed to be negotiated between the two parts until Israel recent attack on Gaza.

Yes, I heard about this as well Rab...The way I see it...

Here's what both parts and Palestine/Lebanon will benefit from the Syrian-Israeli peace.....

Syria.... most important things

1- Israel will withdraw from Joulan, a Syrian land that has been occupied by the Israeli's for more than 30years now. Good, this is why Israelis took it in the first place, to do what they do best...negotiate, now give it back to it's rightful owners

2- Protecting the Assad regime in Syria [same way they did with the Jordanian king and Egyptian President Mubarak]. Alright

Israel.... most important things

1- Syria will be obliged to stop financing both Hezbollah and Hamas with weapons. The end of Palestine draws nearer and nearer, right around the corner

2- They'll break the Iranian-Syrian contact. I dont get this...Israel threatning already ?

Lebanon and Palestine.... most important things

1- Refugees returning back to their homeland from Lebanon, Syria Where exactly are they going to go and who is going to help them ?
2- Sheb'aa, Lebanese land that will return back to Lebanon... [Hezbollah will have no more reason to keep their arms on and will be obliged to hand everything to the Lebanese Army]. Good, give the land back to it's rightful owners, but even then, Hezbollah will secretly step down but not so easily, Nasrallah is a smart guy and if any of these "peace talks" go up in flames, he will be back. I honestly don't even think he'll even dissolve his own group, there will always be a Hizbollah when Israel is on the map

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Arabs/Muslims are not like the way you think, Lebanon and Syria for example, they (with Christians) live together for decades and you don't see any problem between them.

I hate the religion and other religions more than you do, but ffs it's not nice to say these things, or feel hatred towards them. I feel terrible while watching the news, this is inhuman.

Sure both sides are not innocent, sure I get mad at those who teach young Muslims to bomb themselves and that sort of things. But these people have the right to ask their home back, don't see that as too much to ask. And it is very obvious that these two people can't live in the same place, the solution might sound easy (it indeed is), to split the country to two, but I guess religious fanatics of both sides wouldn't accept that, non would give up Jerusalem. That's is the fruit of religion..
well, if there is any positive to draw from this thread, its good to see you here !!:malt:

this is really sad to see loss of human life. What a tragedy

but what did Hamas expect after months of rocket attacks.

Everybody knew that this was goin to happen sooner or later.

Over here in Kuwait, everyone condemns the Israeli aggression but silently they hate the Palestinians for supporting the dictator Saddam Hussein for invading Kuwait in 1990.

No Arab will support Hamas as long as they receive arms and funding from Iran n Syria.

And since the citizens of Away Land will have no problem to give their land to the zionists, we'll indeed reach the peace we all want.
I wonder how noone thought of this before.
The fact that you may not know, Alen, is that the majority of the Israelis have double nationalities from both Israel and the country where they came from because they know in their minds that they won't stay here for ever. They will be removed, I'm sure, but God knows after how many people they will kill.

    :D

Seriously, deporting them will hardly solve the problem. They've been deported and expelled from the countries where they lived far too many times in history.
Just out of my head....they were expelled from France in 1182, they were expelled from England and southern Italy in 1290, they were expelled from Switzerland 4 years later, they were expelled from many parts of Germany and from Hungary in the mid 14 century, they were expelled from Austria in 1421, then the famous deportation of the jews from Spain in 1492, then 5 years later they were expelled from Portugal........there are more deportations that i don't remember right now.....and then we get to Hitler and Nazi Germany.

Now the Arabs have them. If they're deported from Palestine your problem will be solved like i said, but someone else will have to welcome them and a new problem will start.
You said it that they were always expelled because they are trouble makers wherever they went. They can go to hell for all what I care.

First, Palestinians don't wait for a help from a country like Kuwait. They know it is an American colony since ever.

And the most important, try to know something before you post a reply. The rockets were resumed on 24/12/2008 after being stopped for 6 months, so what you said about having rockets launched for mnoths just show how much you know about the case.

Rebel, at first I was against you when I was misinformed about the subject, but I apologize now and say power to your people. I'd help launch the missiles if I could.

Andy, when I joined this forum, I was in the mood that everybody in the World won't even say something in favour of our case. I was so frustrated. I know we did many faults as Palestinians during all the previous decades, and I understand some people who have some attitude against us because of these faults and because of the Western media, but in the end, we know that this World has some great people who are eager to help, but they can't do something material.

For you, Andy, all the appreciation. You don't have to launch missiles as I assure you there are some heros who are doing the job now. They may not have the capability to struggle for a long time, but be sure that even if Zionists could defeat them at this round, there will be many rounds in the future, and someday, the Zionists will be defeated.

You can tell those who are around you in your community about the facts you knew about during your readings and that is so enough.

    Thank you.

These pics are from the last attack on Lebanon in 2006.

Anyway, welcome, Seba. We have another thread about the tragedy.

FYI: This is a MOD EDIT: Seba's thread merged here. However, warning given to Seba for a new user posting new threads rather than bothering to see if there already was any discussion on the topic going on.

I am doing so now, actually. People need to wake up here and drop this support for Israel.

Unfortunately, the more the IDF places pain on Palestine, the more people may want to hurt me, logically. So we need to break this support of Israel FULL STOP, and hedge against any backlash, as well as the deaths of innocent people in Gaza Strip, or wherever.

Americans make me sick on this issue and most of them need to wake the fuck up. I know a few informed people, including a couple true Palestinians, so right now is the action time.

So if the power-hungry idiots keep sending jets and troops over, hopefully they will face their doom in this occupation of nationalized terror.

DO U KNEW WHAT IS GOING ON THERE ?

Israel Launches Air Strikes on Gaza

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqravOE9q90

    I CUOLDN'T STOP CRAYING ,, :depressed
This is what they do. But those fucking terrorists on FIX News always proclaim, "three Israelis dead on Hamas attacks", likes it is so so so so much of a tragedy. That is their main headline. The media here are filled with a bunch of Zionist pigs and people paid to brainwash all of us. Anybody with a brain can see that.

The neanderthals can simply even go to Youtube to witness what the IDF does to Palestinians and their supporters. IDF troops are brainwashed people who love the flow of blood across the land, proven by their own war time chants.

    I say... power to Palestinians.

So what do you call the rockets that were fired before 24/12/2008.Where they penicils
    http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/12/19/israel.gaza.ceasefire/index.html

I dunno where you get your facts, but i m shocked to hear you say that the rockets firing started on Dec 24.

It is so sad to see the majority of the innocents suffer because of the actions of a rotten few.

hmm about Kuwait being a U.S colony ,sure we are forever grateful for the U.S and the World for supporting us against the Iraqi invasions while the Palestinians where rejoicing Saddams cowardly act.

Before there used to be half a million Palestinians in Kuwait now all have been send back.

No Sunni Arab country would support a Shia backed organization

For sure, I won't take my info from CNN like you, because simply I have relatives in Palestine and can see the facts on land, not what the Zionist CNN wants me to know.

As for the dating of the truce end, sorry for saying it was 24/12/2008. I reviewed the dates and it was 18/12/2008. Does that make it true that rockets are being sent for month as you said earlier?

As for the Iraqi take over of Kuwait, this thread is not for that topic. I may discuss it with you in detail, but this is not the suitable timing for that.

    And your last sentence:
No Sunni Arab country would support a Shia backed organization
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but there is no difference in my heart and mind between a Sunni, Shiia, chiristian, atheist as long as they help the good causes in this world.
