those of you who had tried it, to which distro would fedora compair best; suse or ubuntu? meaning is it geared towards ease of use or a power distro?

None really. Fedora Core is sort of in a class of its own. Those distros have different target groups as well. Suse is aimed at the commercial market, a solid product that companies want to buy. Ubuntu is the community driven effort, with the commercial side being very secondary. While Fedora Core is kind of the mad scientist of distros, trying to fit as many new things into every release as they can.

Oh guess what I was at the mall the other day, in this big electronics store, and as I pass by the software shelf I see they are selling Suse. :)

Like I am doing with Gentoo....
don't see a reason. overall i have over 350gb hd space, and i have 3x10gb partitions just for trying out different distros. currently mandriva, kubuntu and xp are there, so why not quadriple-boot my pc?

Ok if you have the infrastucture....

BTW I got the other PC fixed at the shop. Even though MS claimed that the error is because of a faulty RAM, that wasn't really the case. I believe that I have unawaringly wiped out a dell recovery partition....I don't really see the connection but thats what guy at ths shop told me.

glad to hear it man. i don't think you'll ever know what really was wrong with it. but deleting partitions when messing around with different os's can happen very easily.

How much is it satisfying to make an mp3 player that has a Windows logo AAAND a WMP10 logo on its box work under Gentoo?
