u can download it from

U might not find an immediat increase in performance because most of the games still dont support directx 9.

I recommend u to download the redist package(download the whole software onto the harddisk) so that u dont need to keep downloading it everytime u format/re-install u'r OS.

me not tried it yet....and I better wait for the latest version..cause indeed not many games support direct x 9.0. With my 512 RAM, I dont see any problem running any game
