I'm really interested in photography and I love taking pictures. I decided to go pro :p and bought a Nikon D80. Is any of you a pro-photographer or consider himself one .. or at least interested ? please discuss ..

and for Linux users, do any of you know a good photo manipulation programs ? beside Gimp .. ?

ugh, I agree. the gimp is a pain. but krita is very raw and crash happy. I'm hoping that it will grow into a good editor though.

I take pictures but I don't have the creativity and drive of a real photographer. Frankly I don't really know what I want to do when I take pictures.

    Installing Krita already, I hope it suits me .. I know it won't be a photoshop but I hope it's good enough ..

    I think my job made me another person who has to find any relationships in anything in my life. :choc:

    Nice pics Omair. I've been interested in photography for a while but haven't had time to do anything about it. Checkout this website & especially the forum. It's got some amazing photos & vast knowledge of digital photography.
