I "facelifted" my camera- got a Canon Powershot SD300. Pretty decent quality for a "point-and-shoot".

4 megapixels, 2 inch display, good editing options, 3x optical zoom, and excellent lenses.

One little problem- since the flash is so close to the lense- red eye is a constant problem. But that's the case in all pocket cameras.

I also got a 1 gig memory card, which is A LOT. I can even record long movies.

I got a Konica Minolta Z3 for Christmas. I've wanted a digital camera for a very long time (they are much easier for astrophotography than traditional SLRs), so I am very excited!
12X optical zoom [35mm-(35-420mm zoom)]
4.2 or 4.0 MP
shutter time-from 30 seconds (on bulb setting) to 1/1000 second
ISO Settings: 50, 100, 200, 400

I also have a very old Olympus M-1 (35mm) which is a very nice camera.

Can I get my digital camera fixed in a place like Best Buy?

If the lens are broken, can they be repaired?

Im never using my camera again when drunk.

i have a the old sony cybershot u . really annoying not having zoom on a camera, but could someone tell me how to change the default resolution it takes pictures at? since its rather annoying when the pics come out bigger than my 19 inch moniter, and i dont want to resize them one by one in photoshop. (my cousin said its possible) thanks

..

I got myself a Sony Cyber-shot DSC T3 / Black.

Its fcking brilliant and awesome looks and the smallest ever. Can take it with me everywhere coz it fits perfectly in my jean pocket.

Whoever is thinking of getting one, then this is the one, although quite expensive.

You got a T3? Where did you get it? It was released in Japan only.

The best thing about this Sony line are the Carl Zeiss lenses. They are very good, but unfortunately, since they are too close to the flash- red eye is a constant problem.

I got myself a Canon SD300, which is thinner than Sony's T, but is 4 megapixels. I liked the design better.

That's true... in Dubai you can find anything you want...

In far away wholesale shops in Bur Dubai you can find electronics 40% cheaper than in regular stores.
