Not cool :depressed

It's the same story as Matri really. Gave it all in a situation which just wasn't suited for him. Players on completely different levels, but a similar story.

He was quite good for his first season here, he had okay-ish stats. Not too many players were sold after their first season here, especially after contributing at least something. Also, we were total shit that year as we ended 7th, but you can't say Diego had some support by other players. We still had Legro, Grygera, Molinaro, Iaquinta, Amauri and others. He was actually one of the few players who showed something on the field in that season. So yeah, really.

And no, I'm not saying that because Atletico reached this far, nor because he scored that screamer. I just think he's a decent player and if anything I think he deserved one more season here.

If you think so, you are classless then.
Really guys? He really isn't all that. He was/is quite limited, and certainly not good enough to base a team around like we did.

One can appreciate his character and the things he says about Juve, but I certainly don't miss him.

Me? I just don't understand all the masturbatory jism over a player who was overhyped, wrongly overcommitted towards, and simply underwhelmed and underperformed -- just as he did at Porto. May as well bring out the Marcelo Salas fanboys at this point.
