Diego played "hundred" times better than Bonucci, Pepe, Giaccherini, Boriello, De Ceglie even Vucinic when you compare ever players contribution in their respective roles in that horrible season with coach who didnt know how to deploy the team properly and yet he was sold? Life sometimes sucks big time-Diego didnt deserved that, my god Borrielo will stay:help: where is logic there
And did even better too?
But they were both non Italians. Also in the Italian culture, for the same dissapointment, the one had higher expectations, gets a higher penalty...
Thats why we rate the effort on Borriello and the end result on Matri too...

None of those players cost €25m. And no, Diego wasn't 100 times better than them. He wasn't even better than Vucinic.
The fact that he was worth 25m is a GREAT reason to give him another shot before selling him as if he had no impact at all.He was much better than most of our players, and if he was part of this years' Juventus i believe he'd been great.
I don't think he has/had the potential to be world class, but he'd be an amazing substitution or a player to field wherever you had an injury/suspended player in the midfield or the 2 wingers in a 4-3-3.

There is a fact that he is clever player. In that squad, there havn't been creative players at all, except Alex. But there were a big problem for Ferrara to find place on the field for both of them. The only reason Diego was sold is that his cost relatively high, and we needed a sum of money for fucking Del Neri! And the fact that Wolfsbug payed 15m for him only proof that his performance in Juve was not so awful as some fans tried to exclaim !
