Me too, i always liked him and he always said good things about us, when we signed him i wanted him to do so well, and he started great, just didn't work out since we had a crap season. Still think he was one of our best players that season, which in all honesty isn't saying much, but i wish we had given him another shot before selling him.

Same I can't believe we only gave him one shot :(

I remember his goals against Roma lol I thought they were the first of many, shame we had an awful team and awful coaches during his era. I think it was Del Neri's decision to sell him BTW. Juventus still need a lot more creativity

Diego played "hundred" times better than Bonucci, Pepe, Giaccherini, Boriello, De Ceglie even Vucinic when you compare ever players contribution in their respective roles in that horrible season with coach who didnt know how to deploy the team properly and yet he was sold? Life sometimes sucks big time-Diego didnt deserved that, my god Borrielo will stay:help: where is logic there

I totally agree with you. Someone had to be blamed for our horrible season and for some reason it was him.

I saw Diego play a number of matches for Porto before he went off to Germany. Needless to say, he wasn't bad. But I wasn't surprised by his many lackluster performances for Juve.

Diegone. :weee:

Seeing his play at Porto, he represents everything that makes me apprehensive about seeing Cavani perform outside of Napoli.
Werder Bremen bought him for 7-8m if I'm not wrong. What bothered me when Juve were to sign him was the fact that no other "big" team was seriously after him. With Cavani, it's different. You still may be right and I also think anything more than 35m is way too much for a player like Cavani. I'd gladly pay more and get Higuain or Suarez.
