I'm afraid this one move killed not only quality of the team but also morale. And I don't mean just his buddies, Melo and Amauri, who finally started to perform. Even Krasic in his first interview said that he's excited to play with Diego.
It's really strange how Marotta wants to get rid of Diego at all costs - even if it means a loss of 8M in just one year. Money can't be a reason here, Wolfsburg's offer is silly. If it was about money, they'd rather sell Buffon, not Diego to replace him with ol' Di Natale for 7M. It gives us just 10M and leaves with mediocre striker in a mediocre team FFS.
One would think that Marotta has some ace up his sleeve, but the offer for Di Natale has been confirmed by Udinese president. I don't think that Marotta is insane, so he probably has some plan B when Di Natale hopefully turns us down 3 days before deadline. But it still is just a plan B to Di Natale!
