Thiago Silva on Diego to Tuttosport:

“When a team goes badly there is an ugly tendency to blame one or two players, when that really isn’t the case.”

Certainly true. And when it comes to Juventus fans, those two players are Diego and Amauri.

Our best player.
This year he won't be left alone hopefully :xfinger:
:agree:

Can't wait to see him with Aquilani and Krasic. We'll have one dynamic midfield and attack
If they can find a way to work together. Hopefully one of these players can step up to fill the left-wing role so that we can be menacing from all angles. I'm hoping Lanzafame can start to produce something out there because the hard work of Pepe won't be enough.

Diego is going to have a monster season
I hope so...

Wish him the best. On a side note I really hate how they put the advertisement on the front of the Juve Kit.

I really think they purposely made this years kits Shite so they could come out with kick ass ones if this young nucleus gets better.

The acquisitions of Aquilani and Krasic should bring the best out of Diego. Finally he has players capable of getting the ball to him and can stay higher up the pitch.

Good game today; after he came on, our offensive game enjoyed a nice boost - even if we couldn't capitalize. No surprise that we're better when he's on the pitch though...

I really enjoyed Diego's assist on Bonucci's goal against Graz... a great corner it was.

The guy doesn't suck from set pieces, even if they were fairly brutal today - especially when he drilled Chiello. As his confidence continues to rebound, I'm sure he'll demonstrate the form he displayed on set pieces at Bremen.

It's Pepe who needs to stay away from set pieces.

Diego's set pieces are actually very good when he doesn't go for goal.
I completely agree, buddy.

We've had problems with the end product - generally speaking - but I feel like that's going to dramatically change this year. We have the makings of one hell of a potent aerial attack.

Edit: Also, my comment about him regaining his Bremen form on set pieces was directed more towards his strikes on goal; there are some beautiful examples of Diego's Bremen set piece mayhem on YouTube, for anybody that wants/needs a refresher.
