Del Neri can kiss my ass if he uses Diego anywhere else than trequartista. Using Diego as a striker or winger for his beloved 4-4-2 is a big no no.

I don't see much difference between 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1, that's why I don't think Diego will be sold.

Cassano is not in any form a right winger. Cassano is a troublesome #10 / SS. Nothing more.

i think Del Neri will deploy diego in the cassano role, especially since we wont be signing him or pazzini, i see Diego staying admist the roumers.

I wouldn't sign Cassano if we were going to play him wide on the right.

Juventus Star Diego Makes Himself Available To New Coach Luigi Del Neri

Diego is ready to play in any role under the new boss...

Juventus midfielder Diego has promised better performances next season after a poor first campaign with the club. The Turin giants invested almost €25 million on the Brazilian, but he failed to make an impact in 2009-10.

"I hope to start from scratch. A new beginning," he explained in an interview with SPOX.

"In the last season I didn't play as I'd hoped to, but now I want to show my true value to the Bianconeri faithful. Now we have to reflect and clarify things, and continue to work hard. We must avoid making the same mistakes."

Juventus officially presented new coach Luigi Del Neri and many have suggested Diego may not be in his plans, but the 25-year-old has highlighted his own versatility.

"My role with Del Neri? I will always be available to the coach, no matter what formation he uses. I can also play on the wing," he continued.

"At Porto we briefly worked together and now I am committed to playing for the team, regardless of what strategy the coach chooses."

I read the original interview and he also mentioned that he'd be more than happy to have Schweinsteiger in Juventus next season
