pfff so first we buy a player for 25 million and the year after we gonna sell him for 16. hmmm why do we always overpay for players and other clubs get discount with us?

Actually, i'm inclined to believe this particular piece of news. Why? Because it makes perfect sense.
Yeah, it kinda does.

I won't be slitting my wrists though. Well, not yet anyway.

As good a player as Diego may (turn out to) be, I for one remain far from convinced that we are a better team with him than without him. And that has a lot (everything?) to do with the qualities of the other players we have at our disposal.
Though I should add that I definitely do not consider Diego to be a perfect fit to play as a second striker, which obviously influences my thoughts a great deal.

I think Diego leaving would be good for the team......reason is if he stays, Del neri would use him as a second striker where I think he would flop and we wouldn't get the amount of goals we usually get from that position. If Del Neri would experiment with Diego as a trequartista, with 2 strikers ahead of him, my answer would be different but all indications show that Del Neri is stringent and is going to play a 4-4-2 with very little variation. Therefore if we can get some cash to invest in wide players who can strengthen the 4-4-2 (a left full back and a winger), then I think it's not such a bad move........ plus we have the best second striker in the world
