a bit contradictory there, i think u mean their ONLY great move, & how great it is i would say is debatable considering how many tears it took them to sign hime after sounding him out.
I consider Blanc's work on the financial front to be outstanding, considering the money lost in during a year Serie B and two years out of Champions League, as well as sponsorship cancellations. So, I gave credit for that.

When we did the Fifth Ballz Out photoshoot, Andy's balls didn't fit in with the rest of the group. His balls looked like a snowman. Did we drop Andy? Hell No!! We made Andy and his snowman balls the centerpiece of the campaign.

Del Neri used a 4231 at Atalanta I believe, so it is possible we may see this:

x
Seba Diego Krasic

Room for both Seba and Diego.

Diego would thrive in this formation. He wouldn't be left to fend for himself with no fb support or isolated upfront because of 3 defensive minded mids, issues he had to deal with in last seasons 4312.

You're missing my point here. I'm not suggesting that the 4-4-2 is the right fit for this team. I need to see who we let go of and who we're going to bring in.

My point is this: if we bring in the suitable players to run play a 4-4-2 and Diego is the only thing in our way from doing that, then either Diego needs to adapt or he needs to go. I'm not one for giving up on a player after one year but if you told me that we're going into next season with Diego as our centerpiece then I'm afraid that we're finishing 7th again?

Diego has not shown that he can be the centerpiece of this team. If he hasn't shown that, then all options have to be on the table.
I think you're falling into that flawed logic of extremes in this case.

What's even more stupid is to announce that you're gonna sell one of your best players simply because he doesn't fit to coach's preferred formation.
That actually means "Come and get him we don't need him and the price is gonna be flexible."
I think that we're not gonna sell him and lose several millions more, that would be really really stupid.
Not only that, but it is an attack against Diego's confidence as well.

Either way, we based our future on one successful season at Sampdoria. We are the true fools here.

This is Diego some are up in arms about!

He is the same player a year on from joining Juve sometimes good, occassionaly brilliant -in spurts-, often invisable. Will he improve, I have my doubts.

Juve are right to seek to improve the pace and width of the team. Who knows they might even find a gem.

Personally, I would probably keep Diego.

I can fully understand why some may want to sell him, though, and it wouldn't bother me if he was sold and a player at least as good as him was brought in because they fitted the system better.

Hey who's to say Mr.Del Blax will suck at this new Juventus and he's a one dimentional coach?

For all I know, he's going to be our Lippi saviour and Pepe is the new Camoranesi coming to Juve..

Why play 4-2-3-1 when we have a 4-4-2 master in our hand, those results last season with 4-2-3-1 formation were out of luck?!
That's right let the likes of Giovinco and Diego leave, whore them out as bargain in every possible move out there, because our manager has faith in Flope Melon and Amauri in his mighty 4-4-2..

And I never wanted Juve to sign Diego.

I wanted a left winger to be bought to replace Nedved, so Juve could stick with 4-4-2.
