There's something doesn't seem quite right about some of the quotes attributed to Marotta.
Do you really think he said that the fans should 'Watch out for some of the other names in the papers, as there could be a few surprises coming to Juve.'?
Sounds like media BS to me, so that they can be free to make up any rumour they want and people might actually believe it.

I don't know if they do, but Tuttosport are indeed a newspaper that would do it.

He is a great player we count on for the future.
But he can't play in 4-4-2, can he?
He can play in many other formations, maybe he can't play his best football in 4-4-2, but who says that's the formation we will use?
Del Neri loves 4-4-2.

the interview without mentioning diego was with SKY and the one he mentioned about diego was the interview he had with tuttosport.

Juventus are ready to sell Diego because “he does not fit into Gigi Del Neri’s 4-4-2,” confirmed director general Beppe Marotta.
There had been question marks over the Brazilian after a poor debut season in Serie A, especially as the trequartista has struggled to find his tactical place.
“There are offers for Diego,” Marotta told Tuttosport. “Del Neri’s tactical requirements have the priority and I don’t think the Brazilian fits into the 4-4-2.
“Faced with an impressive offer, I believe we could sell him. Watch out for some of the other names in the papers, as there could be a few surprises coming to Juve.
“However, Gianluigi Buffon and Alessandro Del Piero are not for sale. They are symbols of the club and essential reference points for the younger players.”
The Bianconeri must go through the preliminary round to reach the Europa League after only finishing in seventh place.
“When you are at Juventus, it is your duty to never settle,” insisted Marotta. “We will build a Scudetto-winning side, or at least will try to.
“I consider Inter to be a step above the rest, even without Jose Mourinho. They are the number one club in Europe and got there step by step, building the foundations over the years. It proved to be a winning formula.”

Marotta: «We must restore faith to the ambience»
«Our first commitment is to restore faith to the ambience. The team value is mighty, of great level. Therefore we’ll bargain to give the trainer a team able to go on the pitch and win in any circumstance». Beppe Marotta has clear in mind which way to go to relaunch Juventus. Sport Department General Manager spoke about it during an interview for Sky Sport, in which he spoke of the many players drawn near Juventus by newspapers in the last days: « Dzeko is a very good player, we already knew it, and most of European Clubs set their eyes on him. The price? It depends on demands. Ribery? His renewal with Bayern is a clear way to say he’ll stay in Monaco. Palombo and Pazzini? Two very good players, in fact they are in the National Team. But Garrone said that Samp is not a supermarket and therefore I don’t believe they will arrive to Juventus».
About rumors concerning Atletico Madrid’s interest on David Trezeguet, Marotta flatly denies: «There is no demand». Finally, regarding negotiations with Udinese for Pepe, Candreva and Motta: «Starting a conversation is a very normal fact, in the “hot phase” of the season. For Pepe we started a negotiation».
