First big mistake by Marotta..you don't say a player doesnt fit into the team that automatically means we probably won't use him and therefore don't need him meaning his price will be lowered..
This.

I'm fine with the fact Juve is looking to move him. IMO, he was a HUGE bust. But, I don't agree to publicly admit you won't use him, because that MAY lower his value.

I find this news rather disturbing. I'd hate to see him leave because I think he's an amazing player.

I'm pretty sure that we'll sign a big name if he leaves, someone really good, but this sucks IMO.

Bullshit, Diego should stay. F*ck the management for wanting to get rid of one of the best players we have.

I'm really starting to believe that they want to turn us into Juvedoria.

We sell him buy another big name player he flops in his first season so we sell him,

:sergio:

if players aren't given a fair chance how can they prove themselves, he was playing in a shit team, with no direction, and was expected to do everything by himself,

we give Tiago, Molinaro, IQ etc... 3 years to do something, they did jack shit and we only gonna give this guy a year when he wasn't even our worst player of the season

:rndh:

If he leaves I hope he comes back and rapes our asses

Diego is an intelligent player who im sure is capable of adapting to a new formation, selling him even for Aguero would be stupid.

We need to keep Diego at all costs AND buy/trade Aguero especially since Athletico seem to be showing interest in Tiago and Trez..what more could we want?

How do you guys know the motives to Marotta's quotes to the media. For all we know he problably trying to sidetrack some teams into thinking they can poach Diego while he has an easier road signing other players. I don't put much stock to these quotes until the transfer is done

Amateurish move. Keep these comments in house.

Hopefully Tuttosport are misquoting him and/or taking it out of context, because it would be a big mistake to sell Diego after just 1 season.

FFS we gave shit players like Tiago, Molinaro, Grygera, etc more time to find their feet in Italy, and Diego's 1st season in Italy was miles better.

Even Messi would have underperformed in Diego's position, given the lack of support/movement. He was hardly our biggest problem last season.

Were selling Diego and Giovinco all so we can play a 442, even though we can play a 4231 and keep both.
Did Del Neri not play a 4231 at Atalanta? Selling 2 of our more technically gifted players for a formation which will probably include Pepe is lunacy.

This is a dumb move anyway you look at it.
