Diego was our biggest signing this year. But give the lad a break, its his first season in Serie A and he still needs to get use to the pysical playing in Italy. Other than that he has been very good with his skills and play makings. The idea of him over Giovinco and Giovinco not playing alongside with him ticks me off. But he has done enough as of now and he deserves what he has acheived. I also beleive he will be the next Kaka in Serie A.

I like Diego's attitude and he's hard work in the team. But the guy has he's limitations. Never thought that he had great vision. He's definately can score goals and spread up the play well but when it comes to creativity he's not up there with the likes of zidane (even when he was at Diego's age). Huge difference between the two.

I just think that we can get the best out of him if he's pushed more forward as an SS rather than a pure playmaker.

Diego simply needs more support around him, that's why he was better when he had Gio and Camo alongside him, instead of just 3 DM/CMs behind him.

you think Baumann, Frings, Ozil is better than Melo, Sissoko, Marchisio...... ?? and Pizarro, Rosenberg, Hunt is better than Trezeguet, Amauri, Iaquinta?? Thanks, but no!!main problem that in italy every team playin' with man marking on players like diego dat's it....and he don't have enough space....he need to learn how to play with that situation....

We all know diego has quality but it seems that are so far unable to utilize it. Thats a problem of tactics.. but again thats the problem with the whole team

I believe in Diego's talent.. Players in his position often suffer early in the italian league. Zidane, Platini, Nedved..etc I am sure eventually he will come through..

Diego is our most talented player by a long shot. He's being asked to do things he's no accustomed to, his is an instinctual game, a game of invention and improvisation. This whole "play within this sector of the final third and when we lose possession retreat 6 steps to your ..." is retarding his growth to unspeakable levels.

Wow someone made a penetrating run today and Diego put the ball on his foot. I'm shocked. It took fucking Brazzo to help out Diego.

He seems to be the only one who genuinely cares. Bashing him is retarded.
Indeed.

As a little bonus piece, it was good to see him running to retrieve the ball for a Catania goal-kick towards the end of the match.
