I have wished for so long, Osman, that I would be proven WRONG about Amauri...but it just hasn't happened. I ALWAYS want to be proven wrong about anything negative I say about Juventus, because I want them to be winning, to be back at the top, and its upsetting me, as much as everyone else to see what is happening presently.

I am a little scared, that if as Blanc suggests, Ciro is staying until the end of the season, at least...then Diego will advise his agent to find him a new club. That in itself would be horrifying to take.

We buy one of the most exciting prospects in europe, and he leaves US, after a year, solely in order to play for a manager who can manage...

Would any of us truly criticize Diego for doing so?

Its part of HIM, his lifestyle, his crazy carefree destructive nature and way of life, but not his writing. I just seen 3 days ago a very telling and exstensive report of his type of writing, and his craziness and innovative rather was him, the drugs added to him being a strong character, but not his writing persé. He wrote as completely unthortodox as possible, being very much part of the story, being totally biased and subjective however he liked, for example the presidental or senatorial candidates he followed. He wrote absolute 100% anti Nixon stuff where he desbribed his as pure evil and how him and his family is from another planet or are robots.

And same with other politicians he disliked, he would mix total honest and on point reporting with total fantasy and pure BS slander, to confuse and thrill. Once he basically ruined a politician by spreading a rumour and wildly writing about it, of being hooked on some new tripping drug, and instead of write what that politician said on the speech, he would add how this Politician saw his crowd as lizard people and freaked out, and went on a crazy tirade while a snake was around his leg.

This ofcourse is not true, and was done because he really disliked that dude, just for the heck of it. And this was how Hunter was, and wasnt because of the drugs he took while writing it (same were true for politicians he liked, mainly those not winning shit, if he liked them, like Jimmy Carter, he would hail them as saviours and rep them as a groupie). It contributed to his outlook ofcourse, but as close collegues said, he did all kinds of shit, but when writing, he was clean and on point, a man on a serious mission, at times fucked up mission as described, but raw brain power and not tripping on drugs.

I hope you are Right, Kyle...and I agree that he does have a fair amount of obvious determination. But his career has taken a definite nose dive, and how long would he give it, before wanting out?

He is the man who got me into writing, many years back, Osman. He showed me that a man could write honestly, passionately, colourfully and still be a success. And as you have clearly stated, he was a wild one long before he became involved with any drugs...Above all else, Hunter was a Seeker of Truth. And adventure. with an exceptionally intelligent mind, and physical stature, big enough to dissuade many from stomping him...not all though.!

Yes, Hunter was a crazy man in general but you don't take the quantities of drugs he did without it having a large effect on your mind and especially your creative side. LSD had a huge effect on his writing because it would on anybody who takes it so often. As I said before this is not a criticism of him or his lifestyle

We will not lose Diego, that I can assure both of you. He is struggling, but as he said himself after this loss, he can play well when the team plays well, and we will get back to playing well, and Diego will get his groove on and stay. The problem will be all the other shit.

Yes, as simple as that. Zero team unit and gamplan, no one can play well in such condition. Especially the big kahuna kind of player who is supposes to be the spark and hub of the team.

I think it is a combination of adjusting to a new club/league, being marked and abused by opposition teams, being isolated behind the strikers, being surrounded by under performing players and Ferrara's poor coaching.

Now as a result of this he has been heavily criticized and blamed for Juve's poor season not because he is one of the worse players but because he was the star signing and now the pressure to perform is on him and he is still fairly young to have so much responsibility and pressure of being the star man at a big club. Our lack of organization doesn't help either.

To sum it up I think Diego is suffering for a number of reasons and he is a victim of the team's poor form, not the cause
