so tell me, kyle...how do I give it a bad name?
I come on here and write as intelligently as possible about JUVENTUS. I love the club, and have done for 20 years. Now and then, I add in, to my posts, an element or two of my non Juventus life...which I find interesting when others do, and some find interesting when I do.

The only feature that this forum lacks, is a part of the Profile, or Avatar section, which shows the PRIMARY language of others. For instance, your primary tongue, is not english, Kyle, and if I knew that, i would be more careful of my wording...If it is english, you are the one who seems stoned, and too loose to construct proper sentences, not me...

People who focus their lives around it and talk up cannabis like its the greatest thing ever piss me off and give blazing a bad name. Basing you profile, sig and avatar off it and this whole "disciple of Gonzo" crap pisses me off. Weed isn't some magic herb and it doesn't give you higher insight or deeper spirituality or any of that crap and stating that it does is just stupid
And don't try to tell me I don't know what I am talking about when it comes to drugs or cannabis, I know marijuana and I know marijuana smokers and some types of them really piss me off and I don't like being generalized into a group with them

My life is not at all focused around weed. I would not have my job, which depends massively on a clear mind, as well the ability to interact socially with a very wide range of people...

Ignore Khalids (or others) petty attempts of censoring you, I'll allways enjoyed your posts and thought there is some amusing sense to them despite their delirious quality hehe, except you being overly and consistently biased against Amauri, which btw, you wouldnt be so wrong about now

Perhaps you have read snippets, or at least not enough to understand the term Gonzo Journalism...Its ultra subjective, first person reporting, in which the reporter often becomes part of the story, and writes as manically raw as possible, often injecting a hint of fantasy, which follows human perceptions to a degree.
There is nothing whatsoever, from either Hunter, or Cardoso ( who came up with the idea and term), to suggest that gonzo journalism required drugs. It just makes it easier, more colourful, and ultimately, more often than not, entertaining to read...
Having read ALL of his books, seen ALL documentaries and snippets of video footage, I am confident of knowing much about both Hunter and the kind of journalism he favoured. And of being in a position to discuss him. Still...you are likely another fool who assumes that he was more about drugs than an extremely piercing and high quality level of writing in general, not just as a journalist. As a man also...He could write like a Pro at 13 years old, when he nothing to do with drugs.
You don't have intellectuals, who have steered clear of drugs most their lives, or at least not written about their usage, calling Hunter a Genius, because of his drug habits. He was massively respected by the majority of his peers. As an extremely talented man. Not as a drug fiend...Thats what the fools respected him for, not his real fans.

I would understand this post if you werent projection your frustration of those type of people on him, he hasnt given any indication he such at all, except a gimmicky nickname, so cool off on the righteous lecturing of someone you dont even know (and before you say he started it, re-read the post you said you are starting to understand why potsmokers have a bad name, specifically talking about him like you know him).

@ Guru, I respect him very much for his journalism and I never said being LSD inspired was a negative thing. LSD actually is a source of creativity and vast inspiration.
Whether Thompson said it or not in what you have seen LSD is a powerful mind altering drug especially in the amounts he did it in and his usage of it vastly affected his writing style. I am not saying this as a criticism, he was a brilliant writer and his drug use was a huge part of it, it allowed him to look at writing differently and form his own unconventional ideas, his crazy out there style was what made him such a legend.
