Haven't watched much of him, could be useful isn 4-2-4 AND 4-3-3 no?
well hes a right footed left winger. exactly what Conte has been looking for. he plays in a 4-4-2 for sevilla. so... :)

only thing is we would need ziegler or DC to support him more in the attack, that is something i havn't seen too much from ziegler so far.

perotti is less defined than bastos and vargas imo, the latter won't improve anymore in any capacity, but perotti does look like the ideal player for Conte, but as i said he does need the support from the fullback, im not entirely convinced ziegler can offer the attacking penetration

Ziegler was quite an effective attacking LB for Samp during his time.

In the few pre season friendlies he's played for us yeah he hasnt really done much attacking, but that could be due to manager's instructions or lack of fitness.

I dun't know anything on Perotti so was wondering how would you compare Perotti to Di Maria on their skills and impact to the team ? They are both Argentine wingers of the same age.

di maria is far better, perotti is like a rare piece of fillet steak, it is sealed on both sides, but not quite medium rare, in another words, he needs a bit more refinement.

Perotti isn't anything special I would be seriously disappointed if he was our LW signing. Bastos, Vargas and Turan are all much better.

IMO it's all papers rubbish when they state how Conte wants him and how he's our first option.

I for one doubt that Conte wants a player like him here. Vucinic makes sense, but this guy does not.

Turan isn't happening, he doesn't want to leave, and gala don't want to sell, i wouldn't waste anymore time thinking of him

bastos - awaiting EU passport, but Juve not convinced, i'd say there is a excellent chance he will stay with lyon, so that rules him out almost.

vargas - pure media speculation, no actual contact for him, the only player we have enquired about from viola is cerci, so again i don't think we're after him.

I think we will do all we can to get perotti, since nani is a no go too, possibly affellay on loan, but he is probably plan B

Ok, we won't get the other three but my problem is that Perotti just isn't good enough.

If it comes down to Vargas or Bastos, I'd like us to go for Bastos. He can score and assist many goals, is also 27, can play in LW/RW/LB and is cheaper. Why would we go for Vargas.....?

Nich, 12-15 is Lyon's asking price too isn't it ?
