I asume he is very good in organizing the defence considering he is the captain of Urugay and was voted the best captain in 2010 world cup. How good is he in moving the ball forward? I checked him out on wikipedia and saw he has a knack of scoring goals for a CB, 26 goals in 180 games for Fenerbache.

Big Brazilian clubs have no reason to sell future stars cheaply when they know that they can get a lot for them in a few years as well. The hype surrounding these guys also drives up the price.
Lugano would be a perfect pairing with Chellini to protect the middle and organize the defense. Adding him and Vidal gives us that muscle we need to protect Pirlo in the midfield, now if we could get that winger and hopefully still get Rossi I think we could be good! Maybe Vucinic from Roma for the wing + Rossi as SS? :xfinger:
What my question is if we play a 4/3/3 then who are the 3 midfielders? Who is the odd man out? Pirlo? Vidao? Krasic? or if we do a 4/2/4 with Pirlo and Vidal as our mids then Krasic a right attacker and Vucinic a left attacker with Quags and Matri(ROssi) up in the middle but then you will kill Vucinic and Krasic having to support the midfield and run all the way back to defend as well. If you're going to play a 4/2/4 I think you need very athletic and fast external defenders like Dani Alvez or Maicon if you will make it work.
Ziegler is a good enough starter seeing as we are only competing in serie. If the center is organized the full backs will play much better as a result.
