Juve want Diego fast

Juventus will try and beat the competition to Diego's signature by fast-tracking an offer for his services.

The 24-year-old fantasista has been in excellent form for Werder Bremen this season, scoring 17 goals in 30 appearances.

Diego had a hand in eliminating Inter, Milan and Udinese from European competition this year and his star has risen in Italy.

Juventus have long been admirers of the former Santos youngster and want to turn their interest into a transfer.

The disappointing 2-2 draw at Reggina on Sunday has made the need for change all the more clearer in Turin and Diego is a player Juventus officials believe can make the difference between a team of title chasers and title winners.

The Bianconeri also apparently hastened to act on hearing Inter were about to make an offer for the Brazil international.

Failed attempts to sign Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik also appear to have influenced the Turin giants' decision.

Juventus director of sport Alessio Secco and their chief scout Renzo Castagnini reportedly boarded a private jet headed for Germany yesterday morning.

Juventus are convinced they have already persuaded Diego to join the club, even making him take a 15 per cent wage cut.

They now need to agree a fee with Bremen, who want to recoup as much as £25m from the sale of their star player.

So you visited Diego's website, read it and posted here to inform us about this marvellous achievment.

But apparently it's "Kosova Hackers Group", which support Juventus and it happens you're Albanian, writing your first post here. Interesting, I hope police in Albania wouldn't find a first trace here, if that site's administration decide to find intruders.

BTW, your tactics suck.

Watch a video of Diego, enough said.

We need the deal done before the UEFA cup final because he will WOW at that and at the semis everyday his value goes up and up.
25million today is a steal compared to what he will be worth once the mainstream has seen him propper.
4-4-2 attacking diamond anyone???

if it's all about the transfer fee, i hope we should add a little bit more to meet Werder Bremen 's ask, buying a world-class player worth spending more
I honestly wouldn't mind paying a bit over the odds too, if it really meant we would land him. 25-30mil with maybe a bonus on how well the team does as opposed to Diego's achievements. If I were Secco I'd just want the deal over and done with especailly if I knew Inter, our biggest rival at this point in the league, was also interested. Great players in today's market don't come cheap, and we can't show prudence in this deal because this is the guy we can rebuild our team around. We need to have finalized this deal yesterday because loosing out would be a massive blow. Not only because we miss out on a great player but because we will probably loose out to Inter and that would be even more demoralizing. Not only would be be loosing to them on the pitch but behind the scenes as well. Can't let this happen.
