I watched him play against Newcastle last week, he's amazing! He would be the perfect foil to Del piero...

Drogba has everything in his locker. He has pace, strength, skill, technique, goalscoring ability...not sure how good he is on his head though.

This should be our main purchase for attack in the summer. I reckon Marseille would be eager to cash in on him. Maybe if we get Deshamps, he will get Drogba for us.

Why would we need him if brought in Gilardino?

He does score in France but I never liked him. His inconsistency was crealy shown in the CL this year. He scored 2 or 3 in the first two games and then he stopped...

And I've had him in my UEFA Fantasy team up until they were knocked out! So it's personal between me and him!

The fact that he is French worries me though

but saying that I think Drogba is better than Gilardinho....

Drogba has scored loads...in the CL, Uefa cup, French League

and Drogba is NOT French, he's from the Ivory Coast..

It's Bollocks!! he was born in Ivory Coast so thats who he should play for! not sure if he's already played for them tbh..

Hope France don't call him up... They have enough True French Forwards....

Haha and i can not imagine Drogba scoring 19 goals in Serie A, he is simply not good enough for that, so i vote Gilardino too

We will regret not getting Drogba, if we don't get him now!! Did u not see him play against Inter and Newcastle in Europe?
I bet someone like Arsenal end up signing him and he becomes the next Henry!

Gilardino hasnt only been good this year, its only when Mutu and Adriano left that he captured the most attention. And a player like Gilardino doesnt just loose his talent suddently, at least not if he is handled right by a good coach as Prandelli.

True, I don't watch French leage games.

I've seen him play in the Champions League.

I've seen Gilardino play since Adriano's departure, so I have something to compare

But again, opinions about players are very personal and vary.
