My problem with this whole theoretical deal is the amount of money that is being paid compared to how long he will be playing for us. I mean, lets say he still can score a decent amount of the chances he is given, he still won't be playing for us for a while due to the Africa Cup of Nations. And then once we do get him back, he'll still need time to gel with the team and it's tactics before things really get going.
