My point from all of this is that you get offended if someone calls names of any of your family members because you love them.. yet you say you’re a Christian who love Jesus but you don’t get offended if someone calls him names, not necessarily by doubting his existence as in this thread, but by other members who say ‘he’s a son of b**ch’ or ‘bastard’..
I love God ‘Allah’ and I love Jesus and I get offended if someone insult them..

Freedom of speech is good, but to a certain limit and with respect.. what good does it make to mock prophets and God..? it only raises hatred and disgust between people..

I am sorry,but I don't think the same way you do.If you love/like God or prophets, it should be between you and them (God Prophets).I won't hate anyone If someone insults them,I think it should be that way.I am not God's bodyguard,I think GOD (If he exist),can "punish"/judge them alone that's his job not mine ,he doesn't need me for that.you see my point?so each to his own,religion should be that way,otherwise we will not be different than Bin Ladens,zarqawis or the crusades.

I understand where you're coming from.. and I'm glad you realize that me and you are different.. people are different.. in the way that they perceive things.. if we all think the same way, then there will be no troubles in the world.. or exactly the opposite.. depends on how we think..
you may not feel offended, but there is a big chance that others may be.. so why do we encourage this mockery against God and prophets in the name of freedom of speech..?? that is my main concern from all this whole discussion..

And btw, I fail to see how is it gonna make us the same as bin laden, zarqawi and crusades..!! they have different reasons and motives to do what they do.. and it has nothing to do with God.. they just use the religion as an excuse.. we all know that..

I have to admit, you got me there.. :/
But, one thing we have to make clear.. soldiers follow orders.. people who volunteer (bomb themselves, terrorist acts.. etc) are not that educated to distinguish between right and wrong.. for their ignorance, they are being used..

And so far, you and I are having this ‘religious’ discussion without insulting each other.. so, there is a hope for the world..
