Oh really? Is that how it works? If I say "I think" before everything, it's all good? And doesn't making a statement automatically mean you think it is so? Isn't it the same when you say "My boots are red." or "I think my boots are red."?

But let's test your theory and let's see if I get away with it, shall we?

I THINK you are a bigheaded moron.
I THINK you more than once fvcked your own mother in the ass.
I THINK your own mother fvcked you more than once in the ass with a strap-on.
I THINK this theory doesn't make sense.

neither am I, if that's what you're trying to say..

but, my question was clear.. does 'freedom of speech' give us the right to offend others..?
saying God doesn't exist,or God is a liar, things similar to thiese are not offense, that's only opinion..

let me ask you another question if you don't mind.. if someone comes and call your girlfreind/wife names.. do you feel offended..??
what this has to do with religion?? you can't make a connection here, but if somone calls names to any of my family member without a reason, well yes,I will be offended.

difference being family members exist, of that there can be no doubt. Jesus, god, allah etc are all myth as far as I'm concerned so how people can get so offended is beyond me actually. Its been done to death though, this topic - not really much point carrying on with it eh

they don't exist in "your" or non-believers' world Tom,I respect that, but they exist in believers' world. But fighting for that is really pathetic,or getting offended for that. the more pathetic is they think they "defend" God when they reply the insults,Like God (if he exists) needs that.

I Like to discuss religions,I want to have everyone's opinion,it is a good subject to debate for,but not with morons, you saw what happend few weeks ago..but other than that,I also learned some from that same thread also.IMO,These religion discussions shouldn't be banned,If anyone can't handle it,then just leave here in peace..

What's so funny about it is that whenever some form of authority starts a crusade, a war or a Jihad for it, there are actually other political or economical reasons behind it. What amuses me is that lower authorities and civilians keep buying this stuff. Like muslim terrorism really is about Allah :howler:. It's about Allah for those who kill themselves, but we all know it's not about Allah for those who order them to do so.

Very few historians doubt Jesus existed. That does not mean they all except he was the Son of God or he is exactly as the Bible portrays him but most believe there was a Jesus who preached and gained a devoted group of followers. And this makes perfect sense, whether you believe in the Biblical Christ or not, since it is very unlikely Christianity would spread like it did without the existence of Jesus.

The question is very "global" because there is a lot of "Jesus" in the world (people named Jesus)
Maybe the right question is "Did God(Jesus) exist?"
