The only sentence I've learned in 4 years of high school. In my defense, this was my teacher:

And I only remembered it because it was a running gag in my class, throughout the whole first year.

Such a retarded sentence, can't believe it found its way in teh workbooks. :D

We had a running gag of our own, which always included the word schwiebelbutter (spelling?).

Turns out that the actual meaning of that word was rather different from our own meaning. And although it has been many, many years, we still use the word more than enough. Damn, I need to grow up already :D

Yeah, we have a similar thing for "Hasenfefer". Naturally our meaning of the word was somewhat twisted at the beginning and it stuck ever since. High school were the days. :D
