I don’t see what Rovella has to do with this. They are completely different types of midfielders. Also, even with these two gone we have seven in midfield which is a lot.

Nah him and Rabiot are the most useless. Zakaria was further down the chain, it's hard to judge a player who's been here for such a short time.

Im not upset that he is leaving... Im upset that they way is happening only confirms what its pretty obvious now... We didnt have a startegy of market, our management only works on "Panic mode" THATS whats upseting.

Sorry to see him go, but I guess the writing was on the wall. He didn't play much, two games sat through, didn't make a difference when he played and hey - people got what they wanted from the start - two young academy kids staying and being part of the rotation.

Rabiot certainly looked better than him, McK is worse probably but there were not any offers for him. Let's hope he grows as the season goes and maybe next summer someone bites.

And with miretti performances it doesn't make sense to keep zakaria.

We’ve trying to get rid of at least 3 midfielders all summer. Those on the chopping block were Arthur, Ramsey, Rabiot, Mckennie and Zakaria. I say we did a pretty good job in the end.

A club that pays 70 mln for Cucurella and 20 mln for casadei (who) from merda with zero appearances among the pros, should put their hands to their wallets and pay at least 25 mln for Zak, not on loan with option to buy

Clearly showed we didn’t want him, glad it’s not in the same league. Should’ve tried to sell for like 10 million considering Chelsea are desperate for mids.

One dimensional midfielders like Arthur and zakaria being replaced by dynamic midfielders like Paredes Miretti and Pogba. This is already looking exciting.
