Delle Alpi to be restructured (6 Viewers)

Which option for the delle Alpi: Restore or Rebuild?

  • Restore = Pisanu/UEFA compliance, 50k seats, same structure, same stands-to-pitch gap

  • Rebuild = 40k seats for brand-spanking new park socking us into debt. (Costs 10x+ more than Restore)

This is official? If so, i like that it will be 50,000 and not the 35,000 that was quoted b4.

18 mil, i guess the sponsors r taking the bill?
i agree , and thats the right way to do it
also it explains why the upgraded to 50,000 (the sponsors want to)

the most important thing is to remove te running track. it should as good as the san seiro or sampdoria's stadium

The problem is the running track and the atmosphere in general. Removing the track will create a closer envirnment and thus will attract more people. Then what Erik said is also correct.

As for the location, did you read what Paul said? Juventus played in Communale last week and the stadium can have 27000 and only 16000 showed up. So the location was not a problem then.

I repeat, getting to Delle Alpi is piss easy, so the location is not a problem.

Ok,but I find it that we're in serie B so maybe it was the reason for 16000.

What about changing the location from Torino to another city(where we would have more spectators,I heared about that plan before)....I mean,I don't agree with that don't get me wrong,I just think about financial consequences.

but don't forget that the alianz arena coast 350 mio € ;-)
maybe there is just one worker so it needs 3 years
but don't u think that 18 mio is not to low? i now its much money but not if u want to build a stadium.
but as i know the new stadium gets the name of a sponser or?

i think they already have a sponser for the staduim and we will have to pay only 18 million more for the staduim .

don't forget that other staduims costed more becuase the were built from nothing, while our's are only rmoveing the track

f*** this project.. and our president! we have been waiting for this forever and now they say 2010...! It should be done for next season and not 2010!!!! omg! :pumpkin:
Next season..?

You can see that only in "Pimp my stadium" :D

Rebuild a complete stadium is not that easy my friend. 2010 is very far away, but maybe thats why is that cheap (18m). Who knows...

I don`t think that it is a good idea to just renovate the delle alpi with 50.000 seats. That would mean that there are just a few adaptions to the stadium. the running track and the main structure of the stadium would stay. That makes no sense to my mind. We need to restructure the whole delle alpi and make a stadium without a running track. Just reducing the capacity and making it a little bit more comfortable is not enough. I would prefer staying in the olimpic stadium than returning in this renovated delle alpi. I was in the delle alpi three years ago and in the stadio olimpico against Vicenza last weekend. The delle alpi is just no place where you want to watch football. The field is so far away from the supporters. A renovation for just 18m can`t change that. The fans are much closer to the field in the stadio olimpico and the atmosphere is much better. We don`t need a cheap stadium for the euro 2012. we need a football stadium without a running track for the next 40 years and not a renovated delle alpi. I would prefer to wait some years and build a stadium that makes us really satisfied instead of the cheap alternative. we can play our matches in the olimpic stadium and the big matches in the delle alpi until we have the money to really reconstruct the delle alpi without a running track. We already had a stadium with which we were not satisfied with the delle alpi. I don`t want to play another 15 years in a stadium that is so bad for watching football and in which it is so difficult to create a good atmosphere.

The running track will be removed,
the old (Giraudo) 100+ mil plans were abandoned,
as we lost the great sponsor deals
and we will need all the money to maintain our position,
with the maximum amount of 20mil, we cant do wonders,
works will go slow and the main structure wont be changed,
it will be a lift up to the old lady's stadium,
the aim is to bring the spectacle, created from DD's attacking squad,
closer to the fans.
More tickets= more funds = quicker re-growth...

“The Delle Alpi will remain as it is in architectural lines, but the capacity will fall from the present 67,000 spectators to 50,000 to meet new safety regulations,” the French official stated on Thursday.
http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/sep21m.html

Doesn't specify whether the track will be removed.

The "safety regulations" part sounds like a small tuneup to help Italy win their Euro 2012 bid.

many sites did specify all these days that we will "unbuilt"the running track, ex:

..."The Delle Alpi stadium in Turin was one of the new venues built for the World Cup but will be demolished next year to make way for a new venue for Juventus which will have a reduced capacity and no running track."...

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=345045&cc=5739 etc etc

and its logic too, reducing the capacity can be done within a year...

im concerned, it dosent specify what is happening with the running track, if the track is removed then this is a good idea, if not its a waste of time and money
