Haven't seen him play since I don't have access to EPL on TV. But in Parma he had a lot of people running around and most of the time he shone, he shone on the counters when there was space and space for others to run into. I would guess Spurs are energetic with more running off the ball, which 1) creates space for him and 2) opportunities to pass. We are incredibly static. Tempo is slow. We don't counter. Haven't done either of these things for I don't how long. Kulu might be decent if he came back but I doubt we would see him transfer his stats in Spurs into us.
Like I said. Purely speculative. Haven't seen him. Could also be a mental block. Youth coaches and people around him speak highly of his "mental strength", will and determination etcetera. But he is also shy. Could be just a fresh opportunity coming from the darkest place in earth and just a release. Could be many things. But I think the ship has sailed either way.
To those that do see him. How does he fare against low blocks? He doesn't seem to thrive in small spaces.
