Dejan #Kulusevski will be a #Tottenham’s player on a permanent deal. #Juventus will totally receive €45M (10M for 18-months loan + 35M for the option to buy). He has scored 5 goals and made 8 assists from his arrival, becoming a #Spurs’ key-player. #transfers #THFC

The Premier League is objectively a stronger league than Serie A (not a matter of opinion, look at the results in Europe). The fact that Kulusevski and Bentancur have both excelled in England suggests that Juventus need to look within. What’s wrong with us as a club?

He’s had a great season at spurs and looks like the player we wanted to sign. He’s played that wide right role though which he just wouldn’t have been able to play here with our mismatch of players by that role.

Also, it must be incredibly easy for an attacking player to form a trio with Son and Kane. They are incredible footballers (particularly Son, one of the most underrated players in football) and are excellent at linking up play. You take the defensive duties off him and it’s clearly what he was missing here. Teams in the PL don’t sit back in blocks like they do against Juve and the extra space, less defensive responsibilities and quality of attacking players supporting him has led to this. Good for Kulu, never hated him but just didn’t think he had what we needed and he still doesnt

Serie A is dated. Even back when it had the best players (03-06), they failed to take advantage in Europe with the exception of AC Milan because of the style of play.
In fact in the past 20 years only two managers have won a European trophy with a Serie A team, Ancelotti and Jose Mourinho. Which says a lot...
