well I don't care much for players being crowned next X or Y.
By a "Maldini" in this case is that they hope to see this player become
someone important in the squad and having been brought up from the youth system....

With Uefa's new rules then this is great news... (lets see what EU has to say about it first ;)) That they have faith in the youngster, otherwise JUVE is not late sending their primavera players all around Italy on loan deals! ;)

Heitinga is a good player, but I am always afraid he might be like Leggrottaglie
I used to be a big fan of Heitinga, but he is TERRIBLY inconsistent. He should remain at Ajax for at least another two years.

Oh come on, we're probably not going to get anyone. Legrottalie and Tudor will come back in summer, and Moggi will probably bring back Chiellini. So what does that leave to us?!

Zambrotta (Chiellini) - Cannavaro (Legrottalie) - Thuram (Tudor) - Zebina (Birindelli)

...and our U-21 team will guarantee us more reserves if we need 'em...

looks like something like this could happen

Zala to Fiorentina, Miccoli to Palermo, Barzagli to Us

I'd keep tabs on Andrade, Depor look to be a sinking ship.. losing Pandiani to birmingham :D . The atletico pair look very exciting but this is la liga.. how they'd cope I don't know.. would they even want to leave is a bigger question.
If Perea can perform against players like Etoo and Ronaldinho, I am sure he would be able to fit into Serie A. Luis is Colombian, not Spanish, so I do not think he would have that jinx over him. He seems to have all the necessary skills to perform well in the Serie A.

However Perea and Pablo are both pretty much new to the limelight speculations, meaning they are basically brand new and not estanblished. I do not think Moggi likes these sort of defenders anymore..

I thought he played LCB and Pablo RCB. boh
Yeah Perea plays LCB. However he might have the skills to play RB. Much more useful in the center though..
