Roma play in three competitions, their main formation has three CB at the back, Smalling, Kumbulla and it seems Mancini as well are all rotten. Also, Roma doesn't have a dime in their pockets. Now we had a very promising youngster we want to give some playing time who preferred Roma over Frosinone. I think that's it.

Im always surprised by the fact that Roma always is that broke. Located in one of the most attractive cities on this planet, there must be tons of options to boost their commercial revenue. Add some player trading to that and you’d expect them to be financially healthy, yet they’re always broke.

Someone tell me, should I be happy about this or not?
Well he's going to get to play and develop. And they are paying us to develop him. And they're giving us a young player that may or may not be something but he will help next gen.

And on top of it we got to extend Dean's contract all the way to 2028.

It's basically as good as it gets

not just broke, they had sanctions imposed by uefa, so they can't borrow money to spend. i think their budget is 1.5m only for winter as imposed by uefa.

I think the best case scenario is he plays a lot for Roma, has success, Juve signs Tiago Djalo this winter, and then extend Huijsen's loan for the 2024-25 season with Roma during the summer.

That would benefit all 3 parties... but there is obviously a lot of dominos to fall for all of that to become a reality

Excellent half he played, it wasn’t visible that he only has 12 minutes of Serie A experience, let alone arrived 48 hours ago at Roma.

He didn’t got tested an awful lot defensively, but definitely stood his ground and had some nice passes. Was a attacking threat on two occasions aswel.
