I would think Max would have been gone by now but cheap corporate's money men have prevented it. If club had money like when CR7 was around, I think he would have been canned. Wait a minute, he was asked to leave when CR7 was here.

I dont even try to predict what things will look like 2 years from now because unexpected things so often happen, but ideally, Huijsen and Gonzalez go out on loan in Serie A next season and are in the mix for 2025-26 where some decisions will have to be made at the CB position.

Didn’t have the best of the games against Inter, even if he wasn’t completely responsible for the goals he did look weak in the mark in at least 3 of the 4 goals

No better way to learn as an extremely young CB than experience and making plenty of mistakes. At age 18, no one should expect him to be an above average player. He's going to make a lot of mistakes.

Mistakes are part of the learning process and better to make them elsewhere.
More important for us to watch where his glimpses of brilliance he showed in couple of moments during the game. That means there is material from which good defender could be built.
