Trezeguet: 'My worst Juve moment'
By Football Italia staff

David Trezeguet said the Juventus Champions League Final defeat to Milan was “the most painful moment of my career.”
The striker spoke to Sport Mediaset and looked back to that loss on penalties in 2003.
“The most painful moment of my career was the Champions League defeat in Manchester. We were very strong, had won another Scudetto and were meeting a Milan side that had struggled in Serie A.
“We felt superior, but that’s the way it went. We lost on penalties. That remains the biggest regret of my life.
“The greatest joy was the 2001-02 Scudetto, the one decided on May 5 when Inter surprisingly lost on the last day at Lazio and we won in Udine to leapfrog them. It was my first Scudetto and on top of that Juve hadn’t won for a while, so it was wonderful.
“In general from my Bianconeri experience I remember Gianni Agnelli. He never tired of telling us that he wanted Juventus to be the best team in the world. Perhaps we weren’t enchanting with beautiful football, but in terms of hunger to win, nobody was like Juve.”

We already know he's a true Juventino, but he really sealed it mentioning that moment as his worse than his missed penalty against Italy in 2006. Winning a CL trophy with Juventus greater than a WC trophy for his country.
