Liverpool looking at a £2m bid for Trezegol

i love the man but he is on high wages and if Liverpool are offering us £2m it could free up funds for the Benz

Yes, it would. It would make Trezeguet one of the biggest earners in modern football.

it didn't say he earns 10 million a year, he costs us 10 million a year
there is a big difference
anyhow I really like him he is our most prolific striker but is he still worth his high wages?
I doubt it

I don't see why people can't rate Trez after a single match. Amauri is lambasted after every game so what's up with the double standards?
Amauri gets the deserved credit when he scores. Trez, as far as I remember, used to get bashed even after the games he had scored in.

Plus, Juve fans clearly like Trez more. Amauri needs to do a lot to get close to what Trez has done to the club so it is just normal if people seem to be more tolerant to Trez' bad displays.

In other words, double standards.

Had Amauri played, he might've created a chance, maybe even two on his own because of moving around more, holding the ball up top. If he had missed those two, people would be all over him saying 'ahh he needs 10 chances to score a goal, he's shit, Trez would've scored those'.

I love Trez, but in a team that's clearly not a finished product yet he's not likely to get that many great balls, so Amauri is a more useful striker at this point.

I agree that people moan too much about Trez not getting involved though, that's the kind of player he is. We all know he can deliver.

But you are only telling one part of story. There has been many times when Trez got bashed despite scoring goals only because he was invisible for must of the game. So no, there is no double standards. Just that, as I said, people like Trez more and are more tolerant towards him which is quite a normal thing.
