According to latest rumours, Juventus new coach Luigi Del Neri has decided to keep French striker David Trezeguet, who is therefore set to begin his 11th season at the Italian club.

Note : Several clubs were recently interested in the 32-year-old, but no official offers were put on the table. However, a move in January 2011 is probable.

Great fucking news......GREAT!!!!

I bet David called Anelka and said something to the extent of "You see! I told you he's a fucking idiot!"
lol, when Trezeguet was talking shit about Domenesh people were saying that Trezeguet was only bs-ing because Domenesh did not want him in the club......now, people saw that our boy actually knew what he was saying and that he was not lying or bs-ing.........

this isnt good news at all

a very injury prone striker at age 33 who will leave us for nothing in a year and nets 4.5million euros a season

only one of him or del piero should stay and i think the answer to that is obvious

him an amauri get paid 8million euros a sseason..that should be subbed with a world class striker rather than having a player way past his prime and another who cant score to save his life

saying that i dont see him leaving cuz of his ridiculously high salary

David Trezeguet will sit down with Juventus' directors next week to discuss his future, which almost certainly looks away from the club.

The 33-year-old striker will be part of an extensive overhaul, which could also see Diego and Sebastian Giovinco leave Turin.

Quoted in La Gazzetta dello Sport, Trezeguet's agent Antonio Caliendo said: “Within a week there could be news on Trezeguet.

“He doesn't lack offers. On David's return from holiday next week, we will meet Juventus' directors and find a deal.

“He still has a year left on his contract. We will judge whether there are alternative proposals on Juventus' behalf.”

Trezeguet has spent a decade at Juventus and is the most prolific foreign goalscorer in their history.
