Sadly indeed. Football has changed and still changing, and unfortunately it requires a lot from strikers - to hold up the ball open space for teammates and not to pass the ball as soon as he receives it if his mate isn't well placed and marked etc...

Personally, I think David is capable of holding the ball, controlling it when needed but he doesn't like it, I've seen few moves of him outside the box which I'm convinced that he's capable of doing more than just scoring inside the penalty area but he's not into it.
Anyway for the formation we are using or playing right now, Amauri fits more, but the moment Del Piero is back(which is very soon), I want the old partnership.
:agree:

He definitly showed on soo many occasions that he can hold-up ball and dribble, but instead he likes to play one-touch pass and he is great at that.

To me, it's never the millions nor stars that can win you matches, more like leaders that have their own rights reserved style, this is my philosophy and how I see things in Football.

Btw, talking about partnership earlier, I can't get enough of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6pn08mjJQw
That reminds me of one of my favorite goals ever, just after DP>Trez scisor kick

Watching those goals I almost cried, I also found this one, and it's one of my favorite, i especially liked celebration.

:agree: And he can cross too. Love Trez and his mom, I hope to see both at the olimpico next season.

I wonder if Trez knows his mom has become famous among Juve fans

oh, now I miss these years, the players we had, the coach, the mentality, lets hope we will be back in these glorious days soon, and by the way I still think that Del Piero and Trezeguet should lead our attack and still has much to offer us.

I'm great at putting pizza in the oven and waiting for it to go 'beep beep'.

It's a gift.

Oh yea, the Trez-thread. We're counting on you to sink those Maccabi-dudes Trezegol!
