We go over this every single time. When Trezeguet doesn't score, he gets shit. When he does score, he's praised. If Trezeguet doesn't score for us in multiple games where we have been battering the opposition's defenders, then I'll become worried or upset.
Fact is, we don't have much besides power going forward, and that doesn't create many chances.

Trezeguet was not good yesterday...
But it is not Trezeguet's job to run with the ball from the centre of the pitch till Zenit's penalty area. Yesterday our midfield was defending even the wingers and the space between our midfield and our attackers was very big. Yesterday we played something like this:

so yesterday trezeguet's job was to run with the ball and to create. something that he can't do. if we play with such a system iaquinta and amauri are better cause they can dribble and run with the ball and cover the space between the midfield and the attack...
trezeguet is a clear stricker. just like van nistelrooy and drogba. this kind of players should be in front of some creative players and just trying to score. i think that with treza we should play a more attacking 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 or even 4-2-3-1. Something like this:

Our wingers must be more attacking and our wing backs should be our first defending line with our defencive midfielers. Del Piero must play something like a second stricker. So our wings and Del will create some game and Treza will have only to try to score. That's his job and not going back and carrying tha ball...

Nothing new.. If Trez would of got that header at the start we'd wouldn't be having this dicussion, all it takes is one chance and sadfully he missed it which was very untrezegol like.. Everytime he doesnt get that one goal we all get worried then before you know in a couple days he'll be invisible for the majority of the game like he almost always is n then he'll make the game with one sly little strike
