I don't expect us to sell Trezeguet, but if we do I think it's a monetary issue or rather a lack therof. Spending on Alonso, Amauri and possibly more might mean we'd have to sell to keep the balance.

Juve were prepared to sell him last year but the lack of good offers and Ranieri convinced him to stay.

This year might be another story. I doubt he's gonna be gone but if he does...:xfinger:

btw, what's the name of Barca's GM? A guy who's name starts with B will come to Turin tomorrow from what I read.

Juve To Sell Trez & Sign Three Players
According to reports in Italy, Juventus will sell David Trezeguet to Barcelona before signing Xabi Alonso, Fabio Quagliarella and Rafael Marquez.

Trezeguet had a stunning season in Turin last season, scoring 20 goals to finish second in the race for the Serie A Capocannoniere.
Despite this the Frenchman continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona, with new Coach Josep Guardiola said to be desperate to sign the former Monaco man.

Barcelona are prepared to offer around €20m, and the latest reports in Italy suggest that Juve believe this is an offer that is too good to turn down, considering the fact that Trezeguet will turn 31 later this year. With the money they receive from Trezegol’s sale, Juve will then invest into signing Liverpool’s Xabi Alonso.

The Bianconeri will then focus on capturing another forward to replace Trezeguet, and once again they are being linked with a move for Udinese’s Fabio Quagliarella, who they are prepared to pay €15m for.

Finally, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve will look to capture defender Rafael Marquez from Barcelona, possibly in the deal that includes Trezeguet, although not necessarily. The Mexican struggled at times for the Blaugrana last season, and could be allowed to leave by Guardiola this summer.

You guys still think selling Trez is good for our future ?
We'll invest the money we'll get from him to buy Xabi Alonso and then we'll add cash money (or money from the sales of Tiago and Almiron) to buy Marquez (30 yo) and Quagliarella (if he wasn't Italian no-one would have rated this guy).

Quagliarella to score the goals Trez was scoring every year. Yuppiiiiii.

Gazzetta always write bad news for Juve fans though, so i still don't believe this Trez theory. But if what they say is true, then i'm speachless.

Txiki Bergistain or something like that? If we can arrange an eto'o/ronaldinho swap for trez i'm all for this move, otherwise i dont see the value unless we secure huntelaar
