You do remeber that we bought Trez to replace Inzaghi? And that with that we broke one great striking duo to form an even better one.

Anyway, I want Trez to stay, but if we can cash in on him and at the same time buy an adeqaute replacement (which is only Huntelaar ATM, IMO) then yes.
What I ment was that Inzaghi is at age and still hasn't lost his scoring ability. And I don't know what's up with you guys and Huntelaar. The kid only prooved himself in the Dutch League. You know how they call it here? The Mickey Mouse League.
Only a fool compares Trezeguet and Huntelaar.

Well, if Chelsea gets him, they can maybe get Sheva in exchange, or Sheva to Milan and Pippo to Barca, as long as they keep their hands off Trez, I am fine with it

What makes you think Trez wants to leave? The guy has given his all for Juve for the past 8 years, he loves this club. He adores our colors and kisses our badge. His parents love it in Turin; Turin's the birthplace of his kids.

I'll change my name to Doodoo if he chooses to leave.
He did want to leave us when we got relegated. But as far as the current situation goes,i do agree with you.I dont see Trezeguet asking for a transfer. If the board decided to sell him, thats another issue.

I actually think we should go for Sheva. He ought to come cheap, he wants to return to Italy, Milan have a number of reasons not to get him and we could net another striker of his level. Then again I doubt he'd want to come, especially because that would mean every single Milanista would have his guts.

    a) Exactly, we sold Pippo, a great goalscorer, because we bought a better one.
    b) Trez was only proven in the French league, when we bought him. So was van Nistelrooy, when ManU bought him, as well as van Basten, etc. And hey, even Zidane and Del Piero were unproven when we bought him, we surely made a mistake then, right? Risks are inevitable when buying and selling players.

But make no mistake, I want Trez to stay, but we have to think about the future as well, and thus, if we get the chance to replace Trez with someone worth it, we should do it.

We had Baggio. And if Del Piero failed, we always had him. If a player like Huntelaar fails, who do we have? I mean as a pure striker, not supportive (like DP, Amauri)

I think we have don't have any chance of getting Eto'o.

If we fail to sign Xabi they might offer us Deco + money for Trez?Or even Marquez.
Every fan has one player they can't stand and mine is Eto'o.. He's a little shit who thinks he gods gift to earth and then bags out players who he thinks are "arrogrant and greedy", which tbh are the perfect words to describe himself..

Moving on, I doubt Barca are genuinely interested in Trezeguet as they seem to be trying to build a new team with young talented players (e.g. Pique, Keita & Caraces) & not established stars who are in their 30s..

I have a sneaky feeling, Palla will go and we might just end up with Crespo as fifth striker. Not that I'd mind a line up that comprises Trez, Del Piero, Amauri, Iaquinta and/or Crespo.

It's not that sneaky considering both Ranieri & Secco refuse to even recognise his existence whenever asked about our attack
