You could have also just said you felt Trezeguet was a better player. Look, Del Piero has been a Juventus symbol for many years now and has won almost everything there is to win. Even if you still doubt his capabilities I think it's unfair to call him an inconsistent and overrated choker.

What are you talking about? Del Piero WON a World Cup, scored in the semi-final and converted one of the five penalty kicks in the final. That's pretty much what you'd call succeeding.

Look, he fucked up at Euro 2000, but that doesn't annihilate his entire career. And I disagree. Del Piero was great in 1998, but he also was great in several other seasons, although he was indeed not so consistent.

If DP had missed, France would have won or at least it would have been very difficult for Italy to bounce back. It's sure Del Piero is not the old Del piero anymore, but come on, what is he doing the last two years is a fact you can't ignore it, he was a key player for Juve and was successful the last two years .
