@Jack & Rami, forget about Toni. If Trezeguet insists on leaving, who are the attackers whom you see the best to replace the latter?
Well, its hard to replace him. I'd love trezeguet to stay, but if he leaves; I dont see many options out there!
Klose? I didnt see him playing lately...
Pizzaro? he didnt have much time at Bayern, so I doubt he can replace Trezegol...
The best possible soultion is to convince him to stay! :smoke:

even if Trezi didnt score but he was the who set up Alex for one of his goals and on the other his intelligent run paved the way for Alex to score as well.

He was involved a lot in this game and missed some chances. To me it showed that he wanted to do well, more than the last few games at least.

am sure he will progress to the next step in the next game.

Trez is going through a rough patch, he always has it at some point in the season, he'll get back to scoring very soon.

I'm glad someone noticed the perfect assist he made for dp's goal. ;)

the only guy that can step into Trezeguet's boots would be RVN as they are almost the exact same player and both have good scoring records

:agree: lots of people here seem to think toni and trez are similar players, they are completely different and at other ends of the spectrum. both are good players, but you cannot compare them.
the only player in europe who comes close to trez's playing style is RVN, he is a poacher who does little work outside the box.

however i cannot stand mr Ed and would hate him in juve's colours

i hate the talking horse as well, but he is the only player you can compare to Trez. I'd prefer getting Ibra back than get RVN

RVN is not the player he used to be
his scoring record this season might look good but he barely scores(he scored a super hattrick and a hattrick, that's y his goals amount is high)

Rafa reveals Italian targets

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has revealed he is plotting raids for a number of players in Italy.

Benitez is busy planning for next season and has already identified several targets to bolster his squad.

The Spaniard is set to be handed a substantial transfer kitty in the summer following the arrival of new American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett and it appears Benitez has made striking reinforcements his top priority.

Juventus ace David Trezeguet has been strongly linked with Liverpool in the past and Benitez has confirmed his interest in the Frenchman along with three other strikers in Serie A.

Trezeguet's Juventus team-mate Valeri Bojinov, Udinese's Vincenzo Iaquinta and Palermo's Amauri have all come under Benitez's gaze as he looks to build a side capable of challenging for the title next season.

"We are following many players with several of those in Italy and Trezeguet is one of them, it's true, but I like also Iaquinta, Amauri, Bojinov," Benitez told Corriere dello Sport.

Trezeguet would be a killer in England I think, if he was to leave I'd like ManU to snatch him. He'd fit there perfectly.
