They have Fred and Carew who are nailing goals all the time, why do they need Trezeguet?
Cause he´s better than Fred and Carew. They probably think they need him for big success in Europe and I think Trez would do very good in Lyon...with support from Govou, Malouda and Juninho

Hold on guys i have a life you know and was at school so calm down :D

Trezeguet, in his case a goal is never just a detail.

"Infact at the moment i'm going through a fragile moment. At the beginning things went better. He changed the formation, with only one striker. I tried to adapt but less balls were arriving. I have to admit that Nedved's words were pleasing".

After Pescara, Nedved was disappointed that he could not give Trezeguet a chance to score, even though he had scored a brace(2 goals).

"It is not only about me, its general. We are less spectacular than the beginning of the season, we are suffering more and score mainly from inactive balls. We have to refind the will to play, because the excitment is what really counts. The group knows, and this will be what makes us do better.

Head of a finisher and a heart of a playmaker

I'm amazed by players who transmit emotions to the people, at this moment it is Kaka. He is fast, scores and sets up. An amazing player. But unfortunately at the moment people are more interested in defence rather than attack. The important thing is not to let in a goal, because sooner or later you will score one. If this mentality prevails, there will be less players who will do good for football.

The Pallone d'oro to Cannavaro has changed the tendencies?

Cannavaro has done amazing things, he won a World Cup. And lets not forget that he plays with Real Madrid.

While Buffon is in serie B

"I only hope that Gigi did not lose just because he accepted the relegation. If it is so, the footballing light will come out under a dark light.

Some things affect you as well. 130 goals for Juve, its crazy that Trezeguet is not in the French NT.

I expected it, maybe it is a correct loss. Colleagues that play in more competitive leagues are more privelged. Playing in B is penalising, if even my manager takes notice. We live in a fragile situation in both professional and human ways, everyone of us has to sacrifice something to protagonism. I must admit, i miss the national team.

Strange, from Italia champions of the world everything is a mess. What opinion did you make about Totti's case?

Francesco has international experience, he knows what he is doing. He asks for time, on the other hand a lot are waiting for his return to the national team as the champion he is. Then it is true that our mentality is different: a french player always wants to go to the national team, while in Italy the club seems to be preffered.

Seems like the night in Berlin galvanise the losses and depress the winners

In 1998, after winning the world cup, we had the roughly the same team in the european qualifiers, winning every game in the group. In your case, there was a reaction to winning. And there is little needed to stay out of the European Cup.

Juve at the top in 5 years. No next season. Who are you with?

With the experience i've got in the past 7 years, i agree with the administration, Blanc. Buffon Nedved, Camoranesi, Emerson, Vieira, Ibrahimovic did not arrive at teh same time, every summer we bought a great player. After time we became a strong power, but unfortunately it was not enough to win the Champions League, which remains in our regret.

Which was the most powerful Juve you played with?

"At the level of individual level, the last one of Capello. A group composed of players who had won wherever they were and where starters in their national team. In fact in the last two years no-one asked to leave. Then it happened, we left Bari with the scudetto and found ourselves in a revolutionised team. For this we felt betrayed.

To say the truth, Juve fans feel betrayed by Ibrahimovic

They hate a player who they had loved. Who doesnt want Zlatan in their team? He has a certain character but he is fantastic. We meet a lot, he is happy, even though at the beginning it was not easy for him to get used to Milan.

Have you looked at the top goal scorers in Serie A? Ibra scored half of Rigano.

I remember that a few years ago i came draw with Hubner, of Piacenza, for the top goal scorer prize. We had scored the same amount of goals but only spoke of me, he was more average. At the end all that counts is the number, but at the stadium people go to see the big names. It is the power of imagination.

Your name still attracts: there are offers of Lyon and Manchester Utd
7 years at Juve are a lot, for certain people it is a way of pride, because this is a club that always puts its players in tests. You could say that we have all passed this test. With the directors who are not talking of a renewal, neither of the future. These are premature talks. I believe that there is a force which will help us fight for promotion, at the end security can come in. And us in B dont want to stay another year. You suffer too much.

Lyon set for Trez move
Thursday 23 November, 2006
Lyon are ready to make an incredible £21m offer for Juventus striker David Trezeguet, according to reports in Italy.

The French side had already been paired with the Bianconero in the summer after the Old Lady’s relegation, but the player was forced to stay in Turin.

According to the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Lyon could make a new move to convince Trezeguet to leave the peninsula as early as January.

The club’s President had recently confirmed their renewed interest in the French international, who is an attractive signing as he can play for them in the Champions League.

“We are waiting to see if Nilmar will return from his loan to Corinthians, but we may consider a move for Trezeguet in January,” stated Jean-Michel Aulas.

The striker is contracted to Juve until 2008 and has failed to commit his future to the Bianconeri, although the club has reiterated that no key players would leave during January.

However, if the impressive bid were to be confirmed, the Corso Galileo Ferraris outfit may consider the option of letting the 29-year-old forward leave.

The latest reports suggested that Juventus had already rejected a bid from Milan for the striker, as the offer was not considered enough to let the former Monaco man leave.

Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in the player’s services and the striker’s father and agent Jorge is scheduled to meet Juve officials shortly to discuss possible options.

I love Trezeguet too, and as much as he is a Juve legend, I simply would not be able to resist a 21 million pound bid from Lyon, although I really think ManU is more in a dire situation to get Trez.

Hec given Juve's situation now adn Trezeguet's age, I think we might have to consider bids like this.

cannavaro is no more

Carew isnt too talented and perfect finisher

Trezeguet is best scorer for us,we cant sell him

if we sell him,we must find ''big'' money for replacement

Trezeguet ideal for Serie A
The Golden Ball winner is not a no more, if he is no linger with Juve you can't just say he's no more.
Carew is ok and he owned Cannavaro.
Being the best scorer is not a reason not to sell him.
21 Million pounds IS big money.
We are in Serie B

If Trezeguet does indeed want a change of teams, I guess this is the time to sell him and team to sell him to. 21 million pounds is more than Barcelona would have given us last season, and we could use that money to find a decent replacement for David and more so. We certainly don't want to sell Trez to Milan, that's for sure. But I guess we're forced into selling him to the highest bidder despite not being able to adequately replace him... you simply cannot replace a goal machine such as David Trezeguet.

If he indeed travels to Lyon, Heartattack Houllier and company are finally going to be lethal everywhere on the pitch.

Add to that, David playing with Lyon can be digested much easier than any other team.
