looking at the way ferguson has operated over the years,i think he's more likely to buy a young exciting forward and develop him into something big rather than go spend cash on a player who will be 29 this year.
they might not go into the market at all for a forward.they already have rossi,and he's one heck of a talent.fergie might have his eyes set on making rossi the next big thing.

Man U's start has been great, Saha is doint quite well, and Rossi is a big Talent, However if ManU want to take their game to Chelsea throughout the season, they have to own a Poucher of quality.
Saha will score well when he's onform but he hasn't been consistant in a loong long time, Rossi isn't a pure striker and although Rooney is productive he doesnt play the pure striker role.
